Leverkusen win race to sign Ibrahim Maza

Hertha Berlin’s 19-year-old striker Ibrahim Maza is set to join Leverkusen in the near future.

Leverkusen beat Stuttgart out of the competition to sign 19-year-old Hertha Berlin striker Ibrahim Maza this summer.

But now Leverkusen appear to have won the race to sign Maza. With the German giants tempting the young striker with the promise of Champions League football next season. 

Maza reportedly has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave for €9.5m. But Hertha Berlin are seeking a fee in the region of €11-15m for the 19-year-old to leave the club.

This should serve as no problem for Germany’s red company team. Maza has made his decision and the transfer will be finalised in the next ten days. Maza has scored five second division goals this season.
